"Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven...
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:19-21
This life is short and fleeting. We spend our time storing up possessions + building earthly kingdoms. We forget about eternity. Things on earth are temporal but heavenly treasure is eternal.
One thing that we're promised will last is God's word. That's why we tie it around our necks as a reminder + write it on our hearts.
THE PEARL
"The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it." — Matthew 13:45-46
In this story, the pearl represents Jesus. He is the most valuable treasure we will ever find. When the merchant realised the treasure he had in Jesus, he sold all that he had just to have Him. This is a glimpse into the gospel.
SEEK + FIND
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
When the merchant sought; he found. To some, Jesus was a good teacher but to others He is a precious Saviour. God promises if we search wholeheartedly we will find Him.
THE PRICE
The merchant knew the price that had been paid for him. We all have sinned + fallen short of God's glorious perfection, yet in love God sent His Son. Jesus lived a perfect life + died on the cross in our place.
He rose again, making a way for us to be in heaven with Him.

FOLLOW WHOLEHEARTEDLY
The merchant counted the cost + gave up everything to follow Jesus. We’re invited to do the same. He calls us to turn from our sin and put our faith + trust in Him. This means to no longer follow our own hearts but His.
The merchant was all in + sold out. This is what we’ve been made for, to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

PLANS FOR YOU
When we become a follower of Jesus, we are made into a new person. He has a plan and purpose for our life; hope + a future. We aren't promised it will be easy but in the storms we will have Jesus with us, saying, "Peace Be Still." We can live life to the full with faith, courage, joy and freedom.
ETERNITY
As you wear this jewellery, we hope you will treasure Jesus, give Him your life + all + truly follow. We pray that you will be encouraged in your walk with Him + write these eternal truths on your heart.
